Damn time flies

Can't believe it has been so long since i posted last. Well time for update:
Still working at Ctire. No longer live in an apartment and have a landlord. Now I own a duplex and AM a landlord. Of course the moneypit now dominates most of time. Any free time is spent with the same girlfriend I have had since my last postings. Yes I know, working on a record for me. Old car is gone and a older new to me cav has taken its place. Still waiting for the day I finish repairs on the garage that came with the land so i can house a firebird to restore. Someday.....

My oldest neice is all grown up now and finished UPEI.... and her current boyfriend is even likeable.....for a liberal supporter...

Nursing a minor wound on my left hand tonight, gave it 2 solid cracks with the hammer today triing to remove old island shingles. At least the bones in my hand will heal and the house will look better with new base boards and cedar shingles.

well time for supper and another drink

blah

you ever have that dream where your at work, start daydreaming that your at work. Then wake up to find your at work?...If so welcome to my life.
We recently had one of our staff quit. All the rest had "important" (ya right and pigs fn fly) why they could not cover these shifts. So management looks to me. Needless to say, yesterday i worked a double. Today (with the exception of 3 hours which I am on now so I can wash my uniforms...yesterday was "supposed" to be laundry day)double shift...and tomorrow? yep you guessed it another double. I think I'm gonna go into hiding on saturday. Next weeks sched has to be rewritten because of this. I wish I could be like the other staff but I keep looking at it as "well someone has to be there, someone has to watch over the garage", guess thats why they keep turning to me. They know I will not abondon them.

Things are still going good with the girlfriend. Luckily she understands I'm working long hours. Every now and again she drops by work with a choc milkshake for me (hint hint if your reading this).

Well laundry is almost done, time to get redressed and get back to work

busy busy busy

Damn what a month, so much been goin on. Work has increased, so I'm spending more time there. It almost feels like I should have a ved a T.V set up out back. Hopefully they will be hiring more staff so I won't have to work so many hours.

I'm also no longer single. Met a girl 2 months ago and well things have been progressing nicely. Ands she's cute too ~LOL~

So other than working, spending time with "the lil lady" (she'l get me back for saying that i'm sure) and preparing for halloween..........I've been busy as hell

P.S...Matty, matty, matty.......did you even know where you were last Weds? Do you even remember seeing me?? My god, I've seen pickled...but you were more pickled than...well pickles ~LOL~

D&D anyone?

I Am A: Neutral Evil Elf Thief Bard

Alignment:
Neutral Evil characters believe in Number One. Their personal gain takes precedance over all else, and they will work with whomever necessary and whatever institutions necessary to further their own goals.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class.

Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Deity:
Mask is the Neutral Evil god of rogues, thieves. He is also known as the Lord of Shadows. He appears as a lithe man, shadowed, wearing dark clothing. His followers believe in stealth and wariness. They wear black and gray clothing, and carry weapons and armor similar to that of a thief. They frequently wear masks to conceal their identity. Mask's symbol is a dark, checkered mask.

Us humans are strange

I was always one that was used to having a pet. Had a cat named Willow growing up and then got another one about 4 years ago. ~LOL~ named him schezwan because my room mate at the time told me if I got a cat he would make stir fry out of him. Last couple days he was acting weird, so I called the vet. Seems he has a blockage in his bladder (crystals or something). Never knew how attached I was to the furball til I was told my options: Around 1500 bucks for medical bills or The Needle. So here I am, hoping my family can lend me the coin for it. Mom said she is good for at least 1/2.....Even found myself saying at work, some people have kids....I have a cat. So if everything goes well, he'll be released on Monday.

On a lighter note I finally got a digital camera. Hoping in the weeks to follow to set up a pic slide show in the links. A way for people to see my world through my eyes........probably be a few drunken pics on it

All by myself......

Man o man, what a relaxing week,
My manager figured I was putting in too much OT so I work one day with the next off.
Feels like a mini vacation.

And it's official, I am room mateless...3 bedroom apt, and just me and the cat here.
Spent today repainting the ceiling and fixing things here and there in the place....It's alot easier to do when most of the stuff is gone.

So ya, now to find new roomies
