Warning: The following post contains foul language

To the fucker who broke into my car tonight, I hope karma exists and you get the ass kicking you deserve. Yep working today cost me 110 bucks for a new battery(would have been more, but at least the prick was kind enough to leave his old one) and 10 bucks for the pack of cigs he took. Needless to say it didn't leave me in a good mood for the rest of my shift. Kinda sad when in this day and age, a person can't even leave his car in a well lit parking lot without some shit happening to it. I would have called the police, but didn't see the sense in it. Same with insurance. The police would have just said "hmmmm, yep it definately was stolen. we'll look into it....We'll start with tim's across the street here."(as you can see I have little faith for police when it comes to theft). Notifing the insurance company would have been much worse. "Yeah you can use your 100 deductable and we'll get you a new battery...and raise your premium over the next few years...let's see that 100$ battery will now cost you 600$"
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

To add insult to injury, one of my co-workers tore a strip of me (before I found out my battery was stolen). She' went on about I was contradicting her to a customer and that she is in school for automotive, so she knows her shit. That's fine and dandy. When the customer is looking at me and is asking me a question, I just "ASSUME" they want my opinion. But I'm not in school for automotive....no sirree fucking bob, I FINISHED my automotive tech 10 years ago at NBCC Moncton....And did then worked a stint with a Chysler dealership.. Which leads me to another rant.....all you females out there, if you want to be respected for what you do...earn it. I work beside a fellow advisor who has her tech lisence and she has EARNED my respect. If I'm not 100% certain of something I ask her, cus I KNOW she knows her "shit". There is an apprentice in the garage, who even though can be a little rough around the edges, has my respect...Hell i even get her to work on my car...(which is something only I usually do. Nothing pisses me off more than a female who feels she should be respected because she is in a certain job. the same can be said for a male, but truthfully I see the opposite more often. Do you job and be good at it, then you'll have my respect.....Yelling at me at the counter while customers are watching is not a way to get it....it just pisses me of and causes me to post like this....fuck i need a drink

CSI Overload

ok
Here's the lowdown

Anyone who has SpikeTV would know they are running a CSI marathon. 12 straight hours of crime solving and cool effects. Add a few sub plots here and there and you have this Sourisboy glued to his TV for most of the night. I was never one of those people who watched it faithfully when it started....Actually I only started after the third one came out. Now after every shift I scan the channels, looking for an episode. Then spike goes and does this. My nights have now been reduced to coming home and heading straight to the couch. At least I'm on days this week.....

On a diferent note I took that quiz on kitchen's blog, guess I am a creature of the night ~LOL~
Due to the background of my page, the cut and paste of the link doesn't work.....but here's the text at least:

Vilkacis (to be translated literally as "wolf's eyes"; 'werewolf') is usually a malicious creature; a scary being people can turn into. There are particular ways how the people with this curse turn into the wolves and then get their human appearance back and places where this is said to have happened. Although mostly malevolent, on occasion it would bring treasures. It belongs to the same lower level of mythological beings as Dievini, Ragana, Pukis and Vadatajs. It is not clear whether with Vilkacis it is the flesh or just the soul that transforms, as there are accounts of moving an apparently sleeping person whose soul is out "running as a werewolf", after which the person turns out to be dead, as the soul couldn't enter the flesh to return.

St Pattys day

Like people needed an excuse to drink in the Maritimes. I think this is the one day where if your drunk by noon, noone says anything. For me, I have too much running to do to join that crowd.

We were given some interesting news at work the other day. Our current service manager is stepping down and a new one has been hired. We all knew the current one was just a stand in, but we all got used to him. Now come Monday, we have a new boss who knows absolutly nothing about us. The whole idea has me a little aprehensive, but I will try to keep an open mind about it.

Well time to do laundry, food shopping and everything else I save for my day off. Oh ya, Timothy, Hope you like this song better than the last one.

Political thoughts

Well after an interesting night of threats and apologies, it's time to post my views on the latest poll.

All I can say is tsk tsk. The liberals were given a perfect situation to really come out on top. Sure they got some gains, but not nearly what I figured they would be. Guess I gave their leadership too much credit. When I say leadership, I don't just mean Ghiz. In most parties, there is always a group of people in the "back room" calling some of the shots. What did all that aiming to come ahead cause? They are ahead as a party but their leader still can't beat Binns. Because of this, the government still has the popular support?? There has been more screw ups/cut backs in the past year to make the 7.5% incident look like it was a payout. When I left working with the tories, none of these issues had come to light. They were sitting high on the hog. Now after all this, the hog is a little leaner, but they are still on top. With a little time and a few "good news" initiatives, the liberals will loose ground again. If I was a liberal, I would feel cheated. The chest was exposed, the claws sharpened. But with all the worring on "looking good" and not revealing the truth of the issues, the tories are still in a survivable position. It was like they attacked, drew blood, and said " o shit I cut you, let me get you a bandaid".

Thinking back I remember how worried we were that Buchanan would win the leadership. Countless hours were spent looking through archives for any kind of dirt. I know because I helped in that department. My conclusions after researching, nothing concrete or valid enoughto use in an election. I stood at the civic center watching the people and listening to the debates, all the while thinking "this next election is gonna be tough". Then the unthinkable happened, Ghiz won????? This guy my age, whom I kinda remember from my younger days, was their newest leader. It felt like christmas. All this time wondering how to run against a seasoned leader ended.

I feel Ghiz lets some of his members do their own thing. Mainly Brown. He probably is a great guy outside the office. He certainly seems intelligent enough. His tyrads, however, are his down fall. Everything he says is political. W5 interviews him in regards to an orphanage issue from the past. He uses it to attack the current government? Leave current politics out of it. Discuss what happened. Don't belittle the issue by going on about what Binns is doing now, talk about the people and workers of the orphanage.

I said it before that if Ghiz was going to come out on top, he has to keep his team in line. No interview with the media should be allowed unless he knows about it AND knows what they are going to say. Binns is a seasoned politician and ALWAYS chooses his words carefully. But time for that has passed. Even now I hear the blades being sharpened down on Kent St. But who knows, maybe like scrooge, he'll see the ghosts and change his future.

How junvenile some people are

Well now, just an interesting call. It seems one of my friends boyfriend heard I was dancing with her. I get the "I'm gonna kill ya the next time I see ya rant". Twas kinda funny in a way, yes I was dancing with her - close and dirty? nope (actually never touched her while dancing) and we were up dancing well why shouldn't we? It was not like we were fucking on the dance floor, just stomping our feet and waving our hands. I hadn't seen her in awhile and wanted to catch up on all the news. Well got the live update tonight, her boyfriend don't like her having male friends. In a way I feel really sorry for her now more than ever.
............

Hmmmmmmm what's this? Same number as before......

O now its my friend. Still feel sorry she has to live with someone that jealous. She apologized for him calling (not him, which tells me he doesn't beleive it).

He called. He threatened my life. All over a dance.

Sundays...ugh

The worst thing about a Sunday is that once you goto bed, the weekend is over. The start of another work week is nipping at your toes as the alarm clock is blaring whatever station you have it tuned to. Sunday is that day where you make sure your uniform has been washed and set out for you for the morning. Don't get me wrong, I love my job. Everyday there is always something new to solve. Its just that thought of 5 back to back days before a day off just feels depressing. Well time to watch Simpsons before preparing for another work week.

Do clothes make the man?

Well my new tv had to be exchanged. Darn one I had drug from the back of the warehouse was faulty. Needless to say the thought of carrying it back downstairs (live on 3rd floor) and bringing the new one back in, didn't appeal to me too much. The new one works good though...

So after all that was done I felt it was time to update my wardrobe. Sure I have bought the odd shirt or pair of pants over the years, but never have I gone out and bought (what do you girls call it?) sets. I walked into Jean's Experts with a mission. The girl at the counter asked if she could help me, I replied "I want clothes that make me look good, like damn good". yes i know cocky response to give her, but hey I was in one of my many weird moods. So off I went with her in the lead as she showed me the various "hip" "in" "now" (take your pick which one best fits) styles. All I told her was loose around the leg and absolutly no bellbottoms. Then I heard it "these jeans would look good on you with this shirt here". Yes I have always tried to look presentable but never have I had a shirt for a certain pair of jeans. But I was in my mood, so I said "cool lets find out". Off i went to their very open change room (a curtain that draws around you) and tried this emsemble. I felt all I needed was a pair of shades and I would have been invincible. As I am changing back to my (what now feels like rags) she picks out another set. Still in my mood, I try those on. I didn't have that invincible feeling but more of a mellow, take everything as it comes, "ya i just caught you checking me out" feeling......So I did what any other single 30 year old would do: I bought both sets.

Best compliment yet....

for those that know me, I turned 30 a month ago. Yep my days of saying I'm in my 20's are over.....
Anyways, we hit breaker's tonight and one of jmweb's female friends was there. We're all hanging out, having a few drinks, when she turns to me and asks how old I am. My response, "how old do you think I am (after hitting the 30 mark, I hate saying it first)". She says no more than 21 or 22. Now for me she may as well have said I was a mega hunk and the best looking guy in the bar. Instantly I felt much younger and all the fun stress that comes with turning 30 just melted away. It's kinda funny how something as simple as someone saying you look younger than what you really are can make ya feel good.

On another note, one thing I love about breakers. One of the bartenders ther eknows me and I don't even have to say a word to her and she is pouring me my drink. I have yet to get a simple rum and coke from her. It always tastes a little stronger than the ones the other bartenders mix for me. *sip* ~LOL~ 4am and still drinking me rum.... God bless income tax returns

The power of a rant

After complaining about no check, low and behold, a lil brown envelope appeared in the mail today. Now with a new big tv and a bottle of rum, life seems just a little bit better. Of course the rum means there "may" be a post regarding the towns nightlife....Guess it all depends on how much I drink and when (or if) I make it home tonight.

Taxman cometh? where the hell is he?

For the first time in awhile I am actually getting a return...and what a return!
But 2 weeks have past and still no nice little brown envelope in my mailbox. Sure I "could" have requested cashback, but quick figuring in my head told me how many bottle of rum that would equal. Needless to say, I opted for the rum. 7-10 days for return my ass. 11 days later, here I am ranting, no rum (I think my liver has almost fully healed), actually waiting for the good ole taxman. Taxman!!!! Taxman!! For once I'm actually wanting you to visit!

Time to join the bandwagon

Well with everyone else and their dog creating a web blog, felt it was my turn.
